Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the RxT website, the purchase and rental of products, and any related services provided by RxT.
By accessing our website, purchasing, or renting equipment, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you must not use our services.

Definitions

  • “Customer” refers to any individual or business purchasing or renting products from RxT.

  • “Products” include both purchased and rented equipment sold by RxT.

  • “Rental Period” refers to the agreed duration for which the customer rents equipment.

  • “Deposit” refers to a refundable security amount collected before equipment rental.

Eligibility

  • To purchase or rent products from RxT:

  • You must be at least 18 years old.

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when placing an order or rental request.

  • You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the use of our products.

Orders and Payments

​Placing an order:

  • Orders may be placed through our website or in person at our point of sale.

  • All orders are subject to availability and confirmation by RxT.

Payments:

  • Payments must be made in full before products are shipped or rental equipment is delivered.

  • We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods as shown at checkout.

Pricing:

  • All prices are listed in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.

  • RxT reserves the right to update prices at any time. Confirmed orders will not be affected retroactively.

Sales of Products

Ownership of purchased products transfers to the customer once full payment has been received.

Shipping and Delivery:

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on location and availability.

  • RxT is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or external factors beyond our control.

Return Policy (Sales):

  • Returns are accepted for unused, unopened products returned within 14 days of purchase.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective product or RxT’s error.

  • Refunds will be issued after inspection and confirmation of product condition.

Rentals

Some products are available for rental under the following conditions.

Care & Responsibility:

Customers must:

  • Use rental equipment only for its intended purpose.

  • Follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by RxT.

  • Keep equipment secure and protected during the rental period.

  • Immediately notify RxT of any problems or damage.

Deposit:

A refundable security deposit may be required before rental equipment is provided.

Deposit amounts vary based on the type and value of equipment.

The deposit will be refunded in full when equipment is returned:

  • On time,

  • In good working condition, and

  • With all original accessories included.

The deposit may be partially or fully retained if:

  • Equipment is returned damaged or with missing parts.

  • Equipment is returned late.

  • Equipment is not returned, in which case the full replacement value will be charged.

Return of Equipment

Equipment must be returned on or before the agreed date.

Late returns may result in additional daily fees.

If the customer fails to return the equipment within 7 days of the due date:

  • RxT may charge the full replacement cost, and/or

  • Initiate legal action to recover the equipment and associated expenses.

Damage or Loss

The customer is financially responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the equipment, except for normal wear and tear.

If damage occurs:

  • RxT will assess the extent of the damage.

  • Repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the deposit.

  • If costs exceed the deposit, the customer must pay the difference.

In case of theft or total loss, the customer must pay the full replacement value.

Malfunction During Rental (Not Customer’s Fault)

If equipment malfunctions during the rental period due to no fault of the customer:

  • RxT will replace the equipment at no additional charge, if a replacement is available.

  • If a replacement is unavailable, RxT will issue a partial refund for the unused portion of the rental period.

The customer must report malfunctions immediately to qualify for this policy.

Deposit Handling

  • Deposits will be refunded within 7 business days after equipment is returned and inspected.

  • Refunds are issued using the original payment method, unless agreed otherwise.

Warranty

Purchased items:

All purchased products come with a two-year legal warranty under Maltese and EU law.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects, but does not cover:

  • Misuse or improper handling

  • Negligence or accidents

  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs

 

Rental Equipment:

Warranty applies only to defects not caused by the customer.

If the equipment fails under normal use, RxT will:

  • Replace the equipment, or

  • Refund the unused rental period, as outlined in Section "Malfunction During Rental".

Health Disclaimer and Contraindications

Customer Responsibility:

Before using any product, the customer must:

  1. Carefully read all instructions and safety information provided.

  2. Consult a qualified healthcare professional to confirm the product is safe for their condition.

  3. Ensure they do not have contraindications, including but not limited to:

    • Cardiovascular conditions or severe hypertension

    • Pregnancy

    • Recent surgery or open wounds

    • Active infections

    • Thrombosis or severe varicose veins

    • Pacemakers or electronic implants

    • Any other medical condition that may be aggravated by use

 

Waiver of Liability:

By purchasing or renting equipment, the customer agrees that:

  • They assume full responsibility for safe and correct use of the equipment.

  • RxT is not liable for:

    • Injuries, health issues, or complications resulting from misuse, negligence, or failure to follow instructions.

    • The customer’s failure to check contraindications or seek medical advice.

The customer waives any right to legal claims against RxT arising from improper use.

 

Acknowledgement:

During checkout or at the time of rental, customers must confirm that they:

  • Have read and understood contraindications,

  • Have consulted a healthcare provider if necessary, and

  • Accept full responsibility for safe product use.

Limitation of Liability

  • RxT is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of income or health complications arising from product use.

  • Customers agree to use equipment at their own risk.

Privacy and Data Protection

  • RxT complies with Maltese and EU data protection laws, including GDPR.

  • Personal data is processed only for order fulfillment and customer service purposes.

  • We do not sell or share data with third parties, except as required by law.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malta and applicable EU regulations.
Any disputes will be resolved exclusively by the Maltese courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on our website, and changes will take effect immediately upon posting.
